Which scripting languages are most important within the Jira/ Confluence environment?

Hi Atlassian community,

I was wondering what scripting languages are most relevant within the Jira / Confluence environment (Java Script etc.)? I am pretty new to the Atlassian universe and I try to increase my knowledge with the goal to get eventually a job in this field (consultant/ administrator area).

I have the programming basics from my IT apprenticeship and some practical experience with VBA and HTML. Further I know how to write SQL statements and I know the agile framework Scrum.
