Dropdown Box When Option Selected in Form, Generate Issue with a New Naming convention

Hi. I have a form that creates issues for an LMS administrator. When users select Content Type option 1 from the dropdown, I want the issue that will be generated to start with ABC: [plus whatever the user entered].

The dropdown is a custom field. How do I do this?

Hi @Frances Suazo , you can achieve this using Automation. The rule might look something like this...

• trigger - issue created
• condition - fields condition, your custom field = option 1
• action - edit issue, summary = ABC: {{issue.summary}}

Give that a try and let me know your results. Note, you mentioned that the drop-down is a custom field, if it isn't a custom form then we will need to approach the condition differently to extract the form field.
