Manual Trigger: Why am I doing wrong

trying to create manual trigger with dropdown field. I'm assuming that the user will need  to select 1 of 3 choices. My goal is to have the select trigger another rule.

Why am I getting the error message.

Hi @Agustin Torero -

The problem is horrible modern web UI. Atlassian's designers have jumped on the bandwagon of making input boxes NOT LOOK LIKE INPUT BOXES.

You need to click where it says "Enter field name" and then it will turn into an input box where you can enter your field name, which will be what users see. (The Variable name is what you use in Automation smart values.)

Thank you @Darryl Lee ... this was helpful. For sure going to make use of this feature. But will post a different question on a new thread as my use case is different now that I experimented a bit.
