When issue type is changed from review to approved, I want to make the input field command uneditable. Is it possible? Thanks

Hey @Yu Du

You can set via the workflow so that when it will move to approved, the entire work-item wont be editable.

Hi @Yu Du and welcome to the Community!

I understand that you are looking to make a field read only after a status update of a work item. Jira does not support security settings at field level, as you can verify from this feature request for it: JRACLOUD-69298.

This has always been like this for as long as I can remember, so would not expect this to change anytime soon. The feature request does mention a potential workaround which consists of putting your field on a workflow transition screen that can only be used during the given status update. When you then remove the field from the edit screen associated with the issue type in your project, the field will only be editable during the execution of the status transition.

Hope this helps!
