Hi @Randy Michel

There is an active incident impacting automation rules.  You may want to wait for that to clear and then try your rule again.

Please watch the incident here to see progress / updates: https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/

Kind regards,
Bill

Hi Bill,

I doubt it as this issue has been happening for weeks.

I just chose to open a ticket today!

Please post an image of your entire rule in one continuous image (for context) and an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution (with all of the areas at the right side of the log expanded).  Thanks!

Please show the complete rule, and the audit log details for the rule execution

Those are needed to provide context for the symptom observed.  Thanks!

Hi @Bill Sheboy

Unless im doing something that's the full automation rule. The trigger is a manual trigger which branches into an AQL. and that's the whole rule. Is there another view I should use?

The audit log you show is for a rule with a Scheduled Trigger, not a Manual one.  Let's assume the trigger is scheduled...

As your rule is slightly different that the knowledgebase article you are following, please post images of the following, as they will help to compare what the audit log shows:

  • an image of the Create Variable action for EMAIL
  • an image of the Create Variable action for AAIDUser
  • an image of the Edit Object Attributes action

In the meantime, you may also compare the name and case of the smart values: when smart values do not exactly match, they return as null, leading to unexpected results.
