Possibly two-factor uncertainty across products.

Willo August 5, 2018

So I have explicitly enabled two-factor authentication for our cloud Jira and Confluence. There are no issues on that front however, I noticed that I'm required to enter my two-factor in bitbucket as well.

The link that I followed for enabling two-factor in Jira/Conflucence was:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/secure-your-account-with-two-step-verification-939505063.html

Now, the interesting bit and where the uncertainty comes in is that bitbucket currently has its own two-factor settings under my profile. There is no two factor when viewing the setting for the team. So, what would occur if I enabled it under my profile as well? Will I need to enter two two-factor auths, one for my account to login and one for authorising that account to continue login access to the team account?
