Hi! 

Let's say I have a list of customers stored in my Confluence database. Is it possible to configure a field in Jira in which, when creating a task, I can select one of the customers from my Confluence database?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

No, currently that is not possible, you can only use it within Confluence at the moment.
