Dynamically include name of reporter in an automated comment?

Hello! 

I've been messing around with this a bit this afternoon, but does anyone know if it is possibly to dynamically include the name (or username) of the reporter in an automated comment. 

Example: Reporter is John Doe

In an automated comment, can I include as: 

"John Doe (or jdoe), 

This is a comment for you..."

Can you confirm if this question does pertain to Confluence or Jira? The question was put into the Confluence collection but you mentioned that you want it to include the name of the reporter, which is only in Jira.

If you're able to confirm, then I can try to see if there's some way to do that.
