Hello everyone,
I would like to create a dynamic URL in a template. Currently, for each issue created in jira, a page is automatically created in confluence. When creating the confluence page, a link to the corresponding Jira issue should be added. Is this possible?
Thanks for your help!
Best regards
Jakob
Hi @Tom Testing and welcome to the community,
If you are creating a confluence page for every new jira issue, using Jira automation, then you could link this newly created page to the jira issue. This will create a link on both jira and confluence page. On the latter this link will appear on the top of the screen:
The above happens instantly and no additional steps are required. Can you work with something like the above, or you need the link inside the confluence page?
Hi Alex,
thank you for your response. It would be create to add a link of the Jira task directly inside the confluence page. Do you know if this is possible? I could not find anything yet.
Best regards,
Jakob

@Tom Testing you could use the solution I proposed to another user here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Automation-Create-Child-Page-if-specific-label-was-added-to-a/qaq-p/2297894#M266568
