Exceeding licences in Confluence - User Management only shows 22 of 25

Hello,

trying to edit a page in Confluence results in following licence violation:

"This Confluence installation is not licensed for additional users

You have exceeded the maximum number of users for your license. You will still be able to view content, but in order to create or edit content, you must reduce the number of active users in the installation. There are two ways to reduce the number of active users:

  • Disable users
  • Delete users

To disable or delete a user, visit the Users page then search for their name. After following the appropriate link you can choose the 'Remove' or 'Disable' option"

Our confluence is connected to two user directories:

  • LDAP via Jira
  • internal

User Management in Jira showing 22 users. We have the 25 user tier licence. But the error says we have 27 active users...

How to find these users and how to remove from the system?

Thank you & best regards,

AK

Hi there,

I would recommend trying to get a list via the database, have a look below:

Give that a try and let us know if you have any questions.
