Hi Louise,

Can you let us know which problems you're experiencing with your connection to Confluence?

Have you seen any error messages? If so, can you share those with us?

What do your Confluence and Jira server logs say when you try to access the other via the connection?

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Louise,

I don't believe that's message is related to the issue.

We're going to need more information in order to help you troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Can you please explain all the issues you're currently experiencing that lead you to know that the connection isn't working?
  2. When you go to Application Links in Jira, what do you see regarding the Confluence instance? Same question for Confluence, what do you see in Application Links regarding Jira?
  3. For your error messages in your logs, we need the full stack trace, starting with the error message and ending with the line that says "caused by". You can tail both logs and trigger the error you're experiencing, and you should have the full set of messages that are causing the issue.
  4. If you can also tell us which steps you took to upgrade Jira, it will help.
  5. Finally, can you tell us, is Jira and Confluence on separate servers, or the same server?

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Louise,

Understood. However, that message is a bit vague and it doesn't really give us an idea of what the problem is.

As soon as you've had a chance to review the rest of the information I requested, please feel free to share it, and we can continue from there! Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Shannon
