Did you mean:

permission to invite users to a specific space

Rachid Amajoud June 21, 2018

collegeaus,

i created a new group "servicedeskAdmin" in Confluence  for my Jira Service Desk project, so other JSD admins can do some admin tasks in a specific space. I'd like to give these JSD Admins the permission  to "invite" users to that specific space. Is that possible?

Hi Rachid,

What version of Confluence are you using?

How do you add users and groups to your Atlassian Apps? Is it through AD?Crowd?JIRA?

Ok which is the right way. Now what version of Confluence are you using?I am assuming that you are using Confluence Server not Confluence Cloud.

From experience I know only System admins(Confluence Admin) can send an invite to new users. However I know Atlassian try to enhance features with new releases that is the reason behind my version question so that I can check on Atlassian Docs.

Hopefully this link can help you. I think once it is enabled everyone can send invites not only the people within the specific group.

Don;t hesitate to ask if you have any additional questions. I f I am unable to assist I will ask for help from other Champions or an Atlassian Support Engineer.

Cheers,
