Service Desk and Confluence force language?

Mattias Svensson March 5, 2019

Hi,

Trying to figure out if it’s possible to consistently force English and ignore browser language settings for end users in Service Desk portal + Confluence (Cloud).

1: In Service Desk I can’t find any settings? "Enable classic projects" maybe expose this kind of functionality?
2: In confluence "confluence.browser.language.enabled" property is mentioned but can I change this in Cloud edition?

I know that you can change/install language priority in end user’s browser but that is not an option.

Any input is welcome :)

Thanks

Hello Mattias and welcome to the Community!

To ensure I’m understanding properly, you’re wanting to disable the availability of other languages within your JSD Cloud portal and force all users to solely use English only.

If this is the case, then there is no option to accomplish this with the default product. There may be a product within the Atlassian Marketplace which may assist with your requirements.

For further reference, there was a similar post to your topic within our Community. You may find a similar post at Disable languages in customer portal.

I hope this proves helpful and clarifies your ability to control languages.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
