We would like responses to our customer to show as coming from our support email instead of the individual agents and instead of the jira@.........atlassian.net email.
In testing, responses come back as follows:
Subject: Issue number - issue subject
From Agent Name <jira@companyname.atlassian.net>
Can it be more generic to have the From show as
Company support name <companysupport@companyname.com>
like
Help Desk <helpdesk@company.com>

Hi Greta,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
It’s possible to change the email for notifications, but it’s not possible to add the company name instead of the agent name.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
To be able to add an email address from your domain, you need to create an organization and verify a domain. You can follow the steps below:
If you have any other question, please let us know.

Thank you. We were able to configure JIRA service desk to send on behalf of our organizational. Would be nice to be able to adjust the From field. I have voted on suggestion you sent.
Thank you,
Greta
