Hello Community,
We’re excited to announce that project admins can now unblock customers’ email addresses in Jira Service Management.
A customer email address can automatically be added to a suppression list. This can happen for many reasons but common reasons are that the customer inbox is full or their email server is experiencing problems. In these cases, customers stop receiving email notifications and communication is blocked.
Previously, admins had to contact Atlassian support to unblock these email addresses. With this new feature, you can unblock any such email addresses yourself.
To access this feature from your service project, select Customer notification logs and go to Request notifications. If a notification is undelivered because the email address is blocked, you’ll see an option to unblock the email address.
Once you select Unblock email address, your customer will start receiving new email notifications again within an hour. Note that if the errors persist, their email address may become blocked again.
There is no change in experience for undelivered customer invites. You can continue to unblock an email address by resending the invite from the Customers page.
