I am looking at building out a Jira Service Management project to track Security, Projects, Requests for our Cloud Admin team. Was looking for any tips, best practices, and cool integrations that I may have overlooked. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Shawn Masters ,

I would revisit with stakeholders to confirm their requirements and expectations from Jira and see which product can create the best solution that fits their needs. From your post I'm wondering if Jira Software or Work Management might be a better fit than JSM

JSM is good for intaking requests/incidents/change and having the work items go through their respective lifecycle/workflow, generally for service oriented teams with a service catalog. For projects I would start looking at Jira Software or Work Management. If the team wants to use the epics / stories / tasks work item hierarchy Jira would be a better fit than JSM

The main purpose of the project is to generate action items for the AWS Environments the company is operating. I manage all of the cloud products/platforms for the company so the project would be generating work items for myself.
