I have created an onboarding form on JIRA and exploring options for accessibility across our organization. My goal is for all users, including those without JIRA Account, to directly access and complete form via a shared link. Since i have added everyone to our list, I am hoping this setup will enable access without requiring JIRA account.
Is it possible to share the link to this form so that users can access and fill it out directly without needing JIRA Access.
If you're looking to make an onboarding form accessible to all users, including those without a Jira account, Smart Forms for Jira might be just what you need!
With Smart Forms for Jira, you can share forms externally via a direct link. This means anyone with the link can access and complete the form, even if they don’t have a Jira account. Here’s how it can help you achieve your goal:
External Sharing: Smart Forms for Jira provides an external link option, so users outside your Jira environment can access the form and submit responses. This setup works well for onboarding forms, as you can share the link broadly and remove the need for every user to have a Jira account.
Flexible Access Control: While external users can access and submit the form via the shared link, you still maintain control over visibility and accessibility within Jira, ensuring responses are routed to the right place.
Embedded Content Options: If you need to include additional onboarding resources, like a welcome PDF or policy documents, you can embed them directly within the form, giving external users a complete onboarding experience.
This setup with Smart Forms for Jira makes it easy to collect onboarding information from everyone in your organization, hassle-free. You can find more information about Smart Forms for Jira on the Atlassian Marketplace.
