We would love to add the issue key in a comment we want to add sometimes (cannot use the built in notification in the service desk since it is not all the time). We have an automation rule that will add a comment in certain cases. In this comment we would like to refer to the ticket it self. No link is needed
I have found the addon Automation for JIRA extremely handy for these kind of one-off automation rules.
I'd say give it a trial run and see how you like it, if it works for you there are many applications outside of this use case that are handy.
I guess that is what we should use. We have the free version so not sure it works but will try. Thanks!
