Adding metadata to Jira Service Desk Customers

I have a feedback form in my application and I want to use the JSD API to create requests with this captured feedback. I can see that the Rest API allows for customers to be created with name and email; however, I want to be able to add other metadata to the customer, like "account ID" or "date joined" is that possible?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently, it's not possible to add more information about customers. The fields available on their profiles are the email and name, so there are no other fields where we can add other information and we can't add fields to their profiles as well.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
