Hello,
I am working on building a workflow for the JIRA cloud and am able to build one , associate with the project and use the statuses in the workflow as needed . But the problem here is while changing the statuses from one to other for the support ticket / request raised by the customers, the status directly gets changed from one to other.
Instead I would need an intermediate window that comes into picture when I try to change the status . say for ex I put a ticket to a closed state , I should be having a window with options in it like closing reason , resolution / fix applied , resolved by level 1 or level 2 . How do I do that? Where do I need to start configuring that according to my need ? Please advise .
@SAI ABHIRAM CHUNDURU , When editing the workflow,
You can use an existing or create a new screen with the field you need.

Just would like to know one more here please @Peter DeWitt . By using this screen assigning / window for a transition , can the status "Assigned" be a dynamic thing where it shows/suggests the users that are in the project so that only after selecting the user as an assignee , the state can be changed from something else to "Assigned"? Is there any such customer field where it produces the users in the project for a selection . Please advise.

@SAI ABHIRAM CHUNDURU , The easiest way for you to do this will be with a validator. If you select the transition again when editing the workflow, you will see a link on the right for validator. Click into that menu and select add Validator. Use the Field Required Validator and select the Assignee field as the field to validate against.
