Hey all,
Weird issue here that I'm sure is a simple fix... One of the projects in my instance is clearly set up wonky, because every time anyone closes or comments or changes status on an issue, Jira "credits" that status change to me, which means customers are seeing that I'm closing their tickets. I don't do any work in that project... Does anybody know where to go to change whatever setting that is?
How are you seeing these "credits"? Are they getting email or slack messages? What do you see in the issue history?
I use "credit" because I don't know what other word to use. The notification emails have my name on them, and the issue history shows me as the one making the changes. Thus, I'm getting "credit", aka the status changes are being attributed to my username. But I did not make the changes. And it's only for that project, so it's limited to something in that project's setup... I just don't know what.

Check your automation rules. Are they acting as you, by chance?

@Paul Krueger - exactly where I was going.
It sounds like the transitions are being made by an automation that has your name on it.
