Allow email domains to access portal groups

Tristan June 20, 2023

Hello,

Im wondering what's the easiest way to allow ~400 staff members to access our portal group to raise tickets. Currently, the easiest way I can think of is allowing them to access a single-shared credential account with access to the portal.

What Im after is allowing (example) anyone with the email domains of:

@company1.com
@company2.com

to have access to submitting and viewing all tickets created by both companies without each user having to signup and register an account

How can I go about achieving this?

Hi @Tristan

The easiest way is if you have an IDP service such as Okta and others. You can have them in their IDP group and add that group as customer in your JSM.

In my experience, doing this way is probably the best. Trying to achieve this manually or other sorts, is going to cause a lot of problems and headaches. Hope this helps!
