For one of our workflows, we have two approvals:
A. One that is attached to a visible User Picker control; this one is using the built-in Approvers control that comes with Jira.
B. One that is attached to a hidden User Picker control (that is pre-set to a specific user); this is using a custom control.
The first approval has to happen before the second approval can take place. If the first approval is declined, then it never reaches the second approval.
When a user submits a request, the first approval (A) kicks in as expected.
The second approval does not appear as an approval at all. Instead, the name of the control that is associated with the approval appears in the issue where agents can see it, as if it's just a regular control.
Below are the two approvals in the diagram: WAITING FOR APPROVAL (A) and WAITING FOR DEAN/ADMIN SVC (B).
The Add Approval box is checked for both approvals.
Any ideas?
