Is the ability to use Jira Teams as an attribute in Assets, or is this somewhere on the roadmap?

You can't really use Teams as an attribute, unless you do manual specification of the attribute where you would add Team as a group.

@Nikola Perisic  Hoping you can describe how to do this manual specification.  Also, objects from the Services schema support the Team attribute type with the Service Owners field.  Any way to take advantage of the in other schemas?
