For automation I cannot trigger the rule for when an object is created or affected. When in global the trigger cannot be assigned to 'all projects'.

I tried to follow

https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicemanagementserver/configuring-assets-automation-rules-1044784502.html

But I can't see an automation tab in the schema, even after changing the roles and permissions

Hi @David Camenzuli ,

Global automation can actually be accessed via Settings > System > Global automation. The documentation you're referring to is for legacy automation and for the Data Center version.

You can probably refer to the following documentation: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/view-your-automation-usage/#Access-automation-usage
As stated in the link above, to access global automation, you'll need Jira administrator permissions.

From there, you'll be able to user Object trigger and configure your rule.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Tom
