AutoSave text in JIRA-forms

Hello, 

is it possible to autosave written texts in JIRA-forms? When we miss to click on the savebutton and  navigate to another page or issue the written text in the form dissapears.

Welcome to the community.

Unfortunately there is such functionality out of the box.  I would recommend you to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) for possible suggestion.  I believe you may need a third party add-on to provide you with that functionality.

Welcome to the community.

No there is no autosave option. the reason for this is to make changes are not saved directly, as this could also mean thing will break.

You would be able to add ad field and move away and it's there in a fomr on the customer portal, due to the auto save.
