Dear all,

Short question:

I often have external parties or people inside our company asking for other colleagues to be invited (if they are not yet part of our Atlassian Cloud instance) or to be added to JIRA or Confluence projects (we handle all access schemes with groups).

What I want to achieve is that people can type in e-mail adresses, and a request type automatically either invites them with pre-defined settings, or just adds them to a group inside Atlassian Cloud (after approval) so we do not have to take care of manually granting access to externals or colleagues.

I know about the add-on "Multiplier" but unfortunately, it only allows "self-requests" and not requesting acces for others..

Looking forward for ideas - thx!

Best
Ron

Hi @ronny_raschkowan

I'm one of the creators of Multiplier and wanted to chime in – you can in fact use Multiplier for requests made on behalf of other users.

The way to do this is to tell Multiplier to look at the field that contains the email of the user to be invited or assigned specific project permissions (see screenshot below):

I'd be happy to jump on a call and discuss this in more depth. My email is amaresh [at] multiplierhq.com in case you wanted to reach out.

Cheers,

Amaresh
