Hello All,

I have a form on my portal screen which has lots of fields.

But I have one field called Application Name which is dropdown of checkbox, which has multiple values. For Eg. 20 value. Now depending on values selected by the user on portal screen I want that  many subtask tobe created automatically. Is it possible in JIRA?

Hello @Bindiya Vikram Naik

This is possible in Jira using Automation. You can create a loop and create a subtask whenever the condition is met.

Here is an example of an automated assignment of tickets based on the CAB value selected which is a multi-select drop down.

This can be customised as per your business scenarios.

Please let me know if you need any help on this or accept if this helps in resolving the query.

Hi @Bindiya Vikram Naik

seeing you already got a hint from Gaurav on how to start with Automation addressing the requirement I remembered a similar ask here in Community last week.

In case this is interesting to you I'd suggest reading through that one and comparing which solution probably sounds best to your use case:

Daniel
