Autopopulate Filed While Filling a form on Customer Portal

Hey,

I have scenario, where I have to auto-populate run time while user inserting an input like if 
Custom Field 1 Value = A then automatically sets the Custom Field 2 Value = B. Is there any solution without using an add on?

Hi @Muhammad Moazzam Hassan ,

If its OK, you can make use of automation rule (Edit issue). But this will work only after ticket has been created.

i.e. User selects Custom Field 1 Value = A and creates ticket. Once ticket is submitted, automation rule will update Custom Field 2 Value = B.

Please note: You need to make the Custom Field 2 with a default value as hidden in portal so that users doesnot add any values while creating tickets. Once automation updates the value, the field will be displayed to users with updated data in portal.

No, there isn't a way to do that on cloud. Not currently that is. Adaptavist is developing "Behaviours" for cloud instances, which will allow to do that, but for starters this app will not include custom fields.

So there isn't a way to achieve that even with an app.
