Trying to create a 4 step approval process within Service Management. Is there a template that I can refer to? With Different approvers at each stage.

@sharmashe to my knowledge there's no template workflow for a 4-step approval process. You'll need to create something custom.

Four approval steps seem a bit high on the process bureaucracy scale. Sometimes this is unavoidable, but it might be worth seeing if any of those steps can be eliminated or consolidated to allow approvals to complete in a timely fashion.

If you do end up building a custom workflow to support this, I'd recommend sticking with more generic status names to make it more flexible.

Rather than "Person A Approval" or "Role A Approval" you can go with "L1 Approval", "L2 Approval", and so on. Then within your JSM project, you can mask the status name on the customer portal side if needed. This way if the people or roles change, you don't need to overhaul the workflow.

HI @sharmashe

Adjust your workflow to your requirements, create multiple status where an approval is required.
