Bulk Edit: Links & Attachments

Hi team, I wanted to check if you guys agree with me here that it should be possible to bulk edit items to attach a document/a link to a document rather than doing it all individually. 

The bottom of this page suggests it might be illogical to want this capability. Do you guys agree?

As far as I know right now, you cannot conduct bulk edit with attachments.  However you can use this third party add-on to script the bulk changes for attachments - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6398/jira-command-line-interface-cli?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
