I am a new Jira user and I am trying to understand how it works.
When I open the agents' portal (as in the image below), I see all the requests from my customers with relevant information in the columns. Can I also see the request type of each issue?

The screenshot in your post is from Jira Service Desk Server, but your post's tags mention Jira Service Desk Cloud. So I'm not sure if you're on Cloud or Server, but in any case you should find the information in the right-hand side:
And you should also be able to add "Customer request type" field in your queues.
