Can I somehow shield my knowledge base from a search engine?

I want to show my FAQ knowledge base on my customer support website which is protected because users need to log-in. But in order to show my Confluence pages there I need to set the permissions to 'anonymous'. I understood that people can then find the articles through a search engine. Can I somehow avoid this? Anyone experience?
