Is it possible to have pre-populated URL links on request forms linking customers to confluence KB?
My use case involves creating a request form that has a url link that would direct customers to a confluence page with status of "Time to receive service".
This link provides status information to the customer at the creation point of the request for service.
Answering this myself while waiting for a better solution. I was able to add links to the request form by:
1. Go to a Jira Service desk project
2. Go to Project settings > Request types
3. from any available request type of your choosing– click “Edit fields”
4. Go to the “Request form” tab and in the text field under “Request form help and instructions” – You can type the text and links you want.
5. Go to “Preview form in portal” on the top right corner to view how it renders in the portal
However, this brings to light another issue for me, the link opens in the same window as the request form. Is there a way to make this link open in another tab or window?
