Can i triggered an approval request ?

Goodmorning,

I'm new to jira and i m a little bit confused about how use it.

I would like when a client fill the forms  to create a ticket and select a specific value on a drop down list an automation send an approval request to the agent.

It's possible ? How can i do it  ?.

Yes, you can add approval process in the workflow & trigger it at required workflow status. Check this article for detailed configuration steps.

I recommend you to checkout Approval Path for Jira.
It streamlines the whole approval process and can be automated using API as well as some less technical features like workflow compatibility where you can define post functions and conditions to work with approval path.
