Hi, team!
I'm facing some questions regarding permissions in Jira Service Management.
I have two service portals, both for different purposes, one of which is private and the other is open to the public.
It turns out that some users who are registered with Jira and have customer permissions are able to open tickets on this private portal, and were not invited to participate.
Does anyone know why this happens and how to resolve it?
Thanks
Hi @Ana Luiza Chagas Please check the Customer Permissions of the Private portal to see if it allows only those that you add to the project. Also, check the permission scheme to see if it allows anyone to log tickets in. To have a portal private, you need to ensure the following:
1. Project Settings -> Customer Permissions -> Channel access set to Restricted
2. Project Settings -> Customer Permissions -> Customer Sharing set to "Customers can search for other customers within their organizations"
3. Project Settings -> Permission Scheme -> Create Issues restricted and not allowed to Any Logged in User or Public
Hope this helps!
