Is it possible to pre-plan and have a recurrent Jira Service Desk Ticket created automatically? We need to check our server on a regular basis.

Try out the Recurring Checklists and Report add-on, if you`re ok with Atlassian plug-ins. My team has developed this add-on to deal with recurring tasks. It allows to create a recurring tasks with a checklist and monitor every action item via ine-oage report
