Can we create same object in Two schemes (Asset Field)?

In Assets, I created an "A' scheme and a "B' scheme. In the "A' scheme, the object is "abc", configured with the Custom field. The "A' scheme is used for one JSM project. I want to use the same object, i.e., "abc," in Scheme "B." Also, the same object, "abc," is used for another JSM project. Is it possible?

Hi @Venkat Jira Admin

I can't see why not. Even if the asset ID name is unique, it's only unique to that object type so there's no stopping you having the same asset ID in another Object Schema.

The only issue I can potentially see is from a management perspective that anything you update in Scheme A also has to be updated from Scheme B. Also make sure you name your two custom fields accordingly so you don't get confused.
