Can we use nested portal groups within a portal group

  It is possible to maintain nested portal groups within a portal group. We would like to maintain a structure where we open one portal group, and within that we have other portal groups.

I would recommend refined for jira as it allows you to create a portal and mix request types from multiple service desks. Or you can customize and nest the portal through links.

The short answer is no. In Jira Service Management Cloud you can have the following structure.

One project/portal can have multiple Group that can have multiple Customer Requests.

You cannot have a project inside a project.
