Can you assign the issues to smart value fields with balanced workload

I'm trying to create an automation that will assign the issue to one of the users from the list using balanced workload or round-robin, and I'm looking to pass the user list from external webhook. But when I'm trying to setup automation I only see the option to "type to find matching users", which don't really works for me. There is an option to assign to a smart value, but from what I understand, it expects to see only 1 user in the said value.
Can something be done to achieve it, or will I have to offload Balancing to external automation services like Tray?

You cannot use a smart value of you want to assign based on balanced workload or round robin. If you want to use a smart value to do the assigning you have to do the round robin or balanced workload in your external automation.
