Can you raise a ticket via email request On Behalf Of a non-jira user?

I need to log a ticket in JSM with a reporter being an external email address (non-user on JIRA Service Management) so that a two-way-communication is still available. Please let me know if doable - how. Many thanks

Yes, thats possible from the portal:

The user will be added as customer if they don't have a valid license.

They will get an email with the request.
