Cannot edit JQL in Project Automation

Hello.  Please tell me this isn't SOP for the JQL field in Project Automation, because I'm about to go apoplectic!

I have a rule set up, and it works fine, but I want to edit the JQL for one of the steps.  And the edit I want to make is mid-string.  Here's what I'm experiencing:

  • Go to Project Automation in ServiceDesk admin mode.
  • Select a Rule.
  • Click on the first step (which happens to be "When: Scheduled").
  • Click inside the JQL.
  • Start to type.
  • After the first keystroke, the cursor snaps to the very end of the JQL string.

Seriously?  Again, please tell me this isn't SOP.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not seeing that behavior when I use it.

Try running your browser in safe mode to make sure you don't have a browser addon interfering with your typing.

Went in and tested this myself as I don't use standard automation in favor of Automation for Jira. When I tested this my cursor doesn't jump. It just starts typing where I place it.

I agree with Andrew, try running it in safe mode. Also maybe try an alternate browser to see if it still occurs. But I can surely see how this would be frustrating.
