Change issue type by automation

Please guide to change issue type of an issue through automation rules so that associated workflow also get updated.

Hi @harshad tarbundiya - I hadn't had a use case for this before so I tried setting up in my training environment using the EDIT ISSUE action.  However, as soon as you select Issue Type, you'll get the following message:

Editing the issue type may put an issue into an inconsistent state with no transitions available.
It will only work if the destination issue type uses the same workflow.

So unfortunately, this is not possible.
