Changes to Free and Standard plans in Jira Service Management

Hi,

I am currently on the Standard tier but was previously subscribed to the Premium plan.

I noticed that Atlassian has announced upcoming changes, which include moving some features from the Standard tier to Premium.

I use Jira primarily as a reporting tool, where I’ve set up custom fields for different squads, along with several request types and portals to manage what front-end users can see. On the back-end, I have a number of agent users who handle ticket responses.

I’m concerned that these changes may impact my project setup and would appreciate any assistance in understanding how this might affect the features I’m currently using.

Will these changes affect any of the following?

  • Automations
  • Custom fields / Fields
  • Request-types
  • Portal groups

@Oliver Mørch -

If your customizations are the normal standard out of the box setup, then the upcoming changes should not impact your site as the reference link is focusing on Incident/Problem/Change Management functionality.  Don't know if you are using those or not.  If not, then you should be OK.

I would recommend you to formally ask Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) for their further assistance as needed.

Best, Joseph Chung Yin
