Changing my mail server, keeping the name, can it affect my access to Jira?

Hi!

I have my mail my_name@my_business connected to Jira. If I review in Atlassian account > Email, I can read the following message: "Your account is connected to a Google account. Changing the email address here will disconnect your account from the Google account."

In the coming days, the dominion of the business' emails can be changed from "my_old_business" to "my_business", with the email account keeping its name.

Our IT department has warned about the risk of losing the access to third-party services like Jira because of this.

My questions are the following:

1. Can I lost the access to Jira?
2. If this is the case, which cautions can take to avoid this risk?
