Clickable custom buttons in email

Filiph Petzäll March 20, 2020

Hello!

Sorry if this has been asked before, googleing this only returns replybuttons/approve-button (the built-in feature) and things like "press here to reply"-buttons and so forth so its hard to find.

Im looking for inserting buttons into a comment much like the approve-buttons that is available in Jira Servicedesk, but custom buttons. the reason for this is we need to get a controlled response from the customer/reporter in a certain issuetype.
I want to automate something like asking the customer/reporter "was the coffee hot?" and have clickable "yes" & "no"-buttons below. I then want to handle "yes" or "no" differently trough my automations in my Jira Servicedesk project.

Do anyone know if there is a native feature for this and if not, is there some plugin on the marketplace?

Jira Enterprise Email Handler (JEMH) has Directive Sets that might be what you are looking for.
