We operate a ServiceDesk across all teams (IT, Marketing, etc.) for our in-house customers using Jira Service Management. Some of these teams do not work with Jira but with Asana, but still want to be contactable via the ServiceDesk and handle the requests. For this I am looking for a way to create an Asana ticket from JSM (via automation?). A synchronization between the two tickets would be nice, but is not a mandatory requirement.
Asana has an integration to Jira Cloud, so you should be able to connect the applications.

I'm not sure if this involves synchronisation as well.
I see on the Atlassian Marketplace an app, this is not billed via Atlassian, but at a third party directly.

Hopes this answer can help you move towards a solution.
Hi. Both don't support the possibility to create Tickets in Asana from Jira manually and i think both are not working with Jira Service Management.

I think the app on the marketplace does work with JSM.
But if you want it to be manually, you could look into Jira automation.
You could use the manual trigger and the action to send a web request to Asana. Then you would nee to check within Asana documentation if a web cal (api) is possible and how the payload should look like.
