Hello,
I would like to create a simple autoamation creating an idea in JPD when the change requests in service management switch to a specific status
It seems it's not recognizing the status type Idea in JPD although the only issue type I have in JPD (my discovery project) are "ideas"
Any reason why the rule cannot be created ?
Thank you
Make sure that the rule is created globally and ensure that the the automation applies to multiple projects. Refer to this: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Automation-across-two-projects/qaq-p/2195469
Regards,
Fabian
Thank you for your reply @Fabian Lim
Unfortunately setting the scope to multiple project does not solve the problem.
The automation is still not able to find the issue type "idea" although I have added my discovery project among the scope list
I have double checked in the project and idea are available
Edit : I am not able to find the issue type "idea" in the list of issue type of my organisation. It seems the issue type idea does not exist although above screenshot shows the contrary
Thank you

Does the discovery project have an idea issue type in the project's issue type schema? It's also possible that the idea is locked to the JPD projects only, so you may have to use a different issue type.
