Creating Custom Fields

I am not sure how to proceed with creating a custom field that contains categories with drop downs for them with a specific text related to a specific category. 

Here is an example of what I am trying to do:

Category = Landscape

Fields that I would like to be able to select from Landscape = trees, lawn, mulch, etc....

But another Category = Flooring

fields to select from Type of flooring = carpet, tile, etc....

We are wanting to have a drop down of multiple categories and each category has their own selection...I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to do a setup on a custom field...or is it not possible to do what I am wanting to do?

Hi Kirsha:

You can create a custom field using the Cascade select data type -

This data type field gives you the ability to create parent/child relationship.

Example - Parent value will be Landscape with child value of tree, lawn etc..
