I've tried the current /jira shortcut for slack and it's not a good fit for creating JSD tickets since it doesn't make use of request forms.
Is there a better way?
We have a number of shared slack channels with our enterprise customers and I'm looking for a way to make sure their asks via slack can easily get translated to tickets so they are both measurable and don't get lost.
Hi Mariena! I'd recommended checking out Halp. Halp is a ticketing tool that directly integrates with Jira to allow you to create, update, and comment bi-directionally between JSM & Slack (or Teams). With Halp you can use forms to get all the information you need to create a ticket under the correct JSM Request Type.
Hi Mariana,
We have a Slack app called Workflow Steps for Jira which allows you to create Jira issues via Slack's Workflow Builder. Right now, the app supports the creation of a Jira issue but in the new year we will be adding a "Create Service Request' step, for Atlassian Cloud users, which will allow users to submit a request as if they were submitting via a service portal. You can check out the app here: http://jirasteps.app to follow along for the release date of your needed feature.
